I was hoping if I could compile with linkstatic and x on, then I might be able to run dosemu-1.1.5 without getting the IPC errors I mentioned earlier. I understand that the last available dosemu binaries (1.0.2) were compiled with linkstatic on, and these binaries actually work fine.
