From a long time I'v been using an application written in CLIPPER 5.1,
on a Windows/Dos environment, but I started to try running it from a
DOSEMU/Linux environment ant it works fine even with multiple windows.
The only issue is compatibility with other windows environment, because
for what I read file and record locking are addressed differently witch
leads to database corruption, does anyone know a way to be able to use
te application in both environments?

quick answer is:
centos 5.5, samba, dosemu 1.4
i have this setup on 8 dedicated server, ssh for remote DOS, samba for local
windows/dos workstations and .... PARADOX 4.5
after a little experimenting with samba locks, whole thing works well. only
problem is win98 but with registry fix this is solved
hope this help you
