Subject: Drive labels with DR-DOS 7
Date: Tue, 21 Jan 2003 12:10:41 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20030121171041.GA2683@willow.seitz.com> (raw)

Hello all,

We probably have the most elaborate DOS installation of anywhere
on the planet. Among our elaborate setup is a bunch of batch files that
do different things based on the drive label.

Under dosemu, my drive's label shows up as just "AP". Using
LABEL.EXE to change it gives me the error message "Unable to set volume
label". I use direct access to the disk to run dosemu. Is there a way
to change the label?
