Okay, because 1.0.x and early 1.1.x versions don't work when compiled with recent bison versions. > I did find 1.0.1, and the vmodem patch again. > However, when I tried to compile, it barfed. Interesting. What about 1.1.4? > At the moment, I'm wiping my RH8.0 installation and > going back to RH7.1. You must explicitly set the codepage with: charset G0 cp437 in a virtual console that you want to use IBM characters in. If you want to use cp437 (IBM) character set in a X terminal, you must install the VGA font (vga.pcf) and tell the terminal to use it when you run it (typically with -fn vga or -font vga). > So, until my RH7.1 installation is complete, I won't > be trying to recompile dosemu 1.0.1. Welp, let us know when you get around to giving it another shot. -- Ryan Underwood, , icq=10317253
