Hello.

Why are you posting here, and not to SuSE support
then?
Using the 2 years old dosemu will no wonder give you
problems, especially when the serial ports are
concerned.

Are you reading?
I already said that the lack of TIOCMBIS/TIOCMBIC
ioctls for pty was worked around in *recent* dosemus,
whilst your are using an outdated one.

I guess asking for hints, ignoring the already
provided
ones at the same time, may not always work properly:)

This was worked around in the recent dosemu versions,
upgrade.

I guess they knew better than using the dosemu version
that is about 2 years old already:)

Depends on dosemu version.

In principle you can set the minicom to /dev/ttypX and
the dosemu to /dev/ptypX, but it is not intended to
work that way. For the better testing you should
set dosemu to /dev/ttypX and the master side should
be opened by some program like modemu or can even be
connected to a TCP port by socat.
