FWIW,
I am using dosemu 1.2.0.0 and freedos kernel version 1.1.28
(Build 2028) on Debian Sid.
When I ran Paradox 4.5 I received the message:
UNEXPECTED CONDITION: GP 0000 AT PARADOX: 28:1323
and then Paradox would exit.
In /etc/dosemu/dosemu.conf I made the following change:
from
$_dpmi=(0x5000)
to
$_dpmi=(0x500)
and now all is well.
