Wait... you're saying Paradox works if you REDUCE memory from 5MB to 5KB? Or am I misreading the (0x500) entry? That doesn't make sense! I first did everything that made sense, then out of frustration I began doing things that made no sense. This is what happend to work. By trial and error I have found Paradox 4.5 only runs with $_dpmi values from 0x300 to 0x4040 which (if my hex math is correct) is from 768KB to 16,448KB.
