We have here a installation of a small network with (upto) 15 diskless = clients booting linux 2.6.8.1 over etherboot and starting dosemu as non= -root but suid root on the linux console. When starting the dosemu as root with option -V everything works fine. But when starting as user with that command line option some characters= are not as they should be. There is no user configuration file only the system wide one. In the boot.log the following line shows up: CONF: not enough privilege to define config variable c_user CONF: mostly running as USER: uid=3D1000 (cached 1000) gid=3D100 (cache= d 100) Where lies our problem? Thanks alot Lars T=E4uber - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-msdos" = in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
