Perhaps you are missing a library. 2. Normally you should use the dosemu-freedos-bin from the dosemu website including kernel.sys, autoexec.bat, config.sys and command.com and the files in /bin. The dosemu-freedos is optimized for dosemu. You could run dosemu with MSDOS and DRDOS but not in all aspect with freedos. 3. If you want to boot a DOS partition you can not use dosemu-freedos. You could use dosemu with freedos and then mount the DOS partition as drive D: and work on that partition. Problems starting dosemu will be logged in $HOME/.dosemu/boot.log. Your attached file only shows the start messages of the dos you are starting. They show a problem of the dos you want to start, not of dosemu. See /usr/local/share/doc/dosemu especially dosemu-HOWTO.txt although the documentation is somewhat outdated. cu Claudia
