Hi all,
Can you help me how to add dosemu font into my FC4?
I tried: xset fp+ /usr/share/dosemu/Xfonts but didn't work.
Thanks.
Fajar.

Don't you have mkfontdir in FC4?
Dosemu also nees the alias file. One tricky information: the alias file
has only 2 fields per line, the first is the name that dosemu will use,
the second (after the space) looks like many field but is not, it is a
name that must mach exactly what is in the file created by mkfontdir!

I read the mkfontdir manual and it seems that dosemu has provided the fonts
and all related files (fonts.alias, etc) in /usr/share/dosemu/Xfonts,
Can I use those fonts directly?
Thanks.

The error I encounter is that X said I cannot run xdosemu from remote X (in
this case LTSP), and that I must install dosemu vga font.
The font is already in the dosemu's Xfonts dir, so apparently the Xserver
cannot see it?
Then, I try to change dosemu $_X_font option to other font that is already
listed in GDM font, and it works. So, it's a matter of how to add those
dosemu fonts into GDM I think.

Ugh, pardon me.
Apparently I missed reading Bob's suggestion.
I'll look into /opt right away.
I'll inform the result.
