Dosemu also nees the alias file. One tricky information: the alias file has only 2 fields per line, the first is the name that dosemu will use, the second (after the space) looks like many field but is not, it is a name that must mach exactly what is in the file created by mkfontdir! The font is already in the dosemu's Xfonts dir, so apparently the Xserver cannot see it? Then, I try to change dosemu $_X_font option to other font that is already listed in GDM font, and it works. So, it's a matter of how to add those dosemu fonts into GDM I think.
