Hi,

I'm a very happy DOSEMU-user having some trouble printing from DOSEMU (1.4.0)
to a CUPS printer set up with the RAW driver.

While printing from applications such as WordStar works OK, I am unable to
successfully print from DOS, such as listing a directory to the printer (DIR
>LPT1

What happens is that the printer lights up that it's receiving data, but the
data is never printed, and after a while it seems to "get lost" from the
queue somehow. It's certainly not printed.
I have earlier had success with starting dbase and just issuing an "eject"
command there, but that doesn't work here as nothing is printed and the
printer still just displays "receiving data". When printing directly from my
clipper programs it works OK.

The relevant line in my dosemu.conf is:

$_lpt1 = "lpr -l -P dos"
# where dos is the name of the raw cups driver

It seems like this is due to the printer not getting an "eject" command after
it's done printing. I have not found any mention of htis in the faq but are
there any settings in the printer setup of dosemu that can help the process
of "plain printing" from dosemu, so that the printer works a bit more like it
would do if I was running DOS natively (and actually had an LPT1-port, which
modern computers such as my own doesn't have...)

Thanks in advance for any insight!
