Oh yeah! Been a *long* time since I've worked with dos other than to use old apps I developed back then. Forgot all about subst! BUT: it now gives me a "File allocation table bad" error! The symlink still looks fine, just the subst'ed drive e: doesn't work. Strange. Thanks for the help! Scott Swanson
