Do you mean 1.0.2, or 1.1.3, or is it something SuSE-specific? > I'm using symlinks c/d pointing to mounted real dos drives in > /var/lib/dosemu > in dosemu 1.0.1. Has this possibility gone in 1.0.2? It is still there. > Can someone tell me if an update to 1.0.2 could solve the problems Upgrade to 1.0.2 is not recommended. If you want 1.0 branch, use 1.0.2.1. > running > dpmi software like dbase IV. dosemu-1.1.3.1 with patches from dosemu.sourceforge.net/stas have more chances to solve your DPMI problems, but it depends on what the problems are exactly. > Is there a significant better serial code > which > was not working as good as it is wished when running dos fido mailers. Yes, atleast TMail was not working very well on some systems until dosemu-1.1.3. In general all progs that uses a FIFO mode and does early EOI, might hopefully feel better now and there was also a fix that prevents loseing the data in non-fifo mode.
