Recently got doemu working. The howto was very helpfull.
I am runnig a 50 DOS app in X, but I use 1024x768. Looking up the HOWTO
gives:
7.0 dosemu and X-windows(97/2/9).
# 7.5 The vga font is very small on my high resolution display
AFAIK 1024 is as high as many users go!
But Ive found some pcf fonts that solve this prob, and Iwas wondering if
you could put a FAQ in like:
# 7.6 The vga font is very big on my low resolution display
And provide a link to:
http://eugeneteo.net/files/sites/fonts/cure.html
Most of the fonts at the site include correct box rawing characters.
Thanks for the great work!
Patrick.

Sorry, heres a better site insteaad. They have simply small, medium,
etc. fully ANSI compatible fonts.
My point is simply that it is initially very frustrating to have 50 line
xdos 2 lines off the bottom of the screen.
It was not easy to work out what kind of fonts xdos can use, and which
ones are box-drawing friendly.
sabvga on this page is the best, one size below vga and perfect for 50
lines @ 1024.
