Subject: dosemu and non-root users

So, I had this "brilliant" idea to get some old DOS BBS games (like
LORD) running under dosemu, and then allow access via telnet to them.
However, I've run into some bizarre problems.

I obviously don't want to run dosemu on a port on the internet as root.
However, when I attempt to run LORD as a non-root user, dosemu just
exits, with no error messages or anything. As root, everything works
fine. I've mucked around with the config, given all users "c_all" in
/etc/dosemu/dosemu.users, but to no avail. I've made sure that the
permissions on my drdos directory allowed writing by all users, and that
didn't help either.

So, I'm sortof at a loss here. Any idea what the problem is, or what I
can do about it?
