Subject: dosemu printing support ok BUT...

Hi again,
At first I want to thank all replies to my previous kde app link
trouble, solved using the autoexec.bat tip...
I was able to put everything up and running, including printing...
*except* printing from clipper apps. I patched DOSEMU to 1.1.4.13, keep
using freedos 1.1.28. At the freedos prompt, I can issue:
TYPE C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT > LPT1
or
TYPE C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT > PRN
and everything goes fine, autoexec.bat is printed with no problems.
Printing works from many other apps too (from the EDIT freedos editor,
for instance), but when I try to print something from an app wrote in
CA-clipper, everything is dumped at the screen instead of going to the
printer.
I contacted the app developer and he had assured me that it uses
standard clipper copy-to-lpt1 printing resources.
After browsing tons of info on google and lists archives, it seems that
many people have clipper apps printing with no trouble at all running
dosemu "right out the box". I tweaked $_printer a little, with no
results, and now Im completely stuck on this problem.
Any tips or info on this situation would be extremely appreciated!
Regards,
Norman
