The funny thing is that the same setup (same version of dosemu/freedos/word, same autoexec.bat/config.sys) works just fine on another PC. The partition is the same in both cases (it is mounted over NFS) and is 140GB (of which 100GB free). Since in both cases all directories are the same (NFS is great) this is not a problem with the setup (permissions, etc). However, the PC that works OK is an Uniprocessor one, and the one which does not work is 2xXeon+HT. Luke, does this ring some bells? Is your machime SMP too? dam -- Damyan Ivanov 0x9725F63B Creditreform Bulgaria divanov@creditreform.bg http://www.creditreform.bg/ phone: +359(2)928-2611, 929-3993 fax: +359(2)920-0994 mobile: +359-88-856-6067 ICQ: 3028500 Y!M: dam3028500 --------------enigF059300782389D0C5D46FFFE Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFB3VX0Hqjlqpcl9jsRAtcsAKDCxmJsCOQeVxa2cC651Pp8pkV3swCgmbVc AqHHrQwqrx0xOkSg1Q1msVc= =LWYw -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigF059300782389D0C5D46FFFE--
