Hello.

The crash usually happens if you
press the key in the game intro
to skip it. If you use mouse to
skip it, then no crash. Does it
work the same way for you? That
assumes you are using dos4gw 1.8,
which is what my Syndicate Wars
have. With dos4gw 1.97 it works
better (the real problem is not
in dosemu and not even in dos4gw
actually).

Sorry, the bug appeared to have
been fixed 3 days after 1.3.1 was
released :( For some very strange
reasons I thought the fix is in
1.3.1, but it appears not.
Can you please try the CVS code?
It is a bit unstable at a moment,
but should work OK for Syndicate.
Otherwise you can try 1.2.1.
Not that I can reproduce your speed
problem under 1.2.2, but trying the
fixed version still worthy before
anything else.
What CPU do you have?
