A round of applause to Stas and Bart!
I have been using DOSEMU off and on for several years, and one of my
interests was to be able to run my company's old DOS-based Clipper
programs in DOSEMU as the DOS emulation of each successive version of
Windows gets more and more unreliable. Unfortunately our login
procedure used some kind of record locking function that caused DPMI to
lock up, and none of the debug messages I sent to the developers helped
identify or fix the error (looking back on bug #753619, I see I did not
know how to properly submit the information you needed).
Today I downloaded a new CVS and built it... and DPMI works perfectly,
even when I use the native Win98 boot partition rather than freedos.
Now I can tell our customers to stop using Windows XP/2000 to run our
DOS programs :-)

Yes, someone else was more lucky with that:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=855611&group_id=49784&atid=457447
After this was resolved, the Clipper/Blinker support
was announced here. This was in 1.3.1 even, so I think
also 1.2.2 should work for you. Or didn't it?

Yes, I am sure the DPMI of dosemu-1.3.2 is finally in
line (and exceeds) most of the commercial DPMI servers.
Be it the case 10 years ago, and it would certainly
produce the desired effect. :)
