You can't directly. My workaround is to copy the text to a DOS text file, such as the WordPerfect text editor, open that file in a Linux text editor, such as Kedit, and then insert that file in the desired Linux application. As you can see the workaround is quite cumbersome. I have many important texts written when I was still using WordPerfect 5.1, parts of which I want to incorporate in documents created in OpenOffice, which I now use as my primary word processor. The workaround described is how I manage the transfer.
