Making dos 2.88m floppy image bootable

I've Dosemu installed. I've created a floppy image file with the
following commands:
          dd if=/dev/zero of=boot288.img bs=512 count 5760
          mkfs.msdos boot288.img

My question is: How can I transfer the dos 6.22 system to this image,
so that I can use the image to boot from a CD-ROM?

Lars,

I would also be interested in how to do this.  I've been able to create
a bootable 1.44 image under DOSEmu, but never a 2.88 image.  If I
remember correctly, I was able to create a bootable 2.88 image using
bochs instead.

Something like this?

$_floppy_a ="threeinch sectors 36 tracks 80 heads 2:/home/enbeo/dosemu/boot288.img"

In my tests A: works like a 2.88MB floppy and you can boot from it too
(using the -A flag).

I wanted to build the Bart's modboot cd from Linux. Then I had to use
the dos part of Windows 98 (not dos 6.22), but tecnicaly to build the
image, it's the same thing.
