Hi,
I am running DOSBOX and find that the time goes off about 2minutes per
hour. Is there any way to keep the DOS time in step with the host OS time?

Yes there is, use dosemu instead of dosbox ;-)
(See http://www.sat.dundee.ac.uk/~psc/ for details)

I cannot use dosemu for this app due to serial port problems.
I.e. dosbox works with my app.
dosemu does not work with my app.
