Subject: [RESEND RESEND PATCH v2] mtd: nand_bbt: scan for next free bbt block if writing bbt fails
Date: Tue, 11 Aug 2015 16:55:22 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1439330122-41912-1-git-send-email-xander.huff@ni.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1437594157-44885-1-git-send-email-xander.huff@ni.com>
From: Ben Shelton <ben.shelton@ni.com>
If erasing or writing the BBT fails, we should mark the current BBT
block as bad and use the BBT descriptor to scan for the next available
unused block in the BBT. We should only return a failure if there isn't
any space left.
Based on original code implemented by Jeff Westfahl
<jeff.westfahl@ni.com>.
