Hi,
I know that CF in TrueIDE mode is offtopic here, but I'm wondering if
somebody has managed to connect a CF card directly to processor's bus
interface in one of the other modes and wrote a driver for Linux?

I don't know of anyone that has actually done this, but the way to do this is
documented on www.sandisk.com and has been discussed a few times here.
>From software land, the CF would be (should be) impossible to tell apart from
an IDE haddrive. ie. no special drivers required.
