Hi list,
I've searched for a stable MTD 'release' but all I found was snapshots of
the daily work done on MTD et al. Is there a *stable* porting for 2.4.19
kernels ?
another thing: If my board has a strata flash, do I need to make a map file
?
I'm sorry for newbie's questions.
thanks,
ilan.

As we had a lot of changes in JFFS2 in the last months, I recommend you to
work with current CVS code. It can be considered as almost stable at the
moment.

No. You can use the generic mapping driver and define the paritions via kernel
commandline.
