Hi,

I posted earlier about having problems compiling grub. I have followed the 
steps in Karim Yaghmour's book and the step from a online tutorial. I checked 
out the newest grub from cvs and newest mtd also from cvs, downloaded grub 
0.97 0.96 0.95/4/3/2 Extracted all and patched it. I tried compiling on a 
mepis machine (updated in the last few months). Any ideas on what works? Or 
anybody got a ready compiled grub_firmware file I can download?
