hi,
too bad, nobody responded to my earlier mail.

i tried different tweaks to mtd-lilo and also tried david's mtd-lilo
from
http://ftp.linux.org.uk/pub/people/dwmw2/mtd/cvs/mtd/patches/
but ended up with the same problem.
and finally got the partition table of my hard drive in the development
machine fried... (still smoking!!) so i really need u'r help!!
