Do DOC2000s have unique serial numbers, and if so, how does one read
them
from user space?

I don't believe they have serial numbers at all.

They do, but only printed on the top of the package.  They're not as far

Kira is absolutely right .
DiskOnChip does not have any serial number saved in the electronic form.
