Patches from Lineo to fix some of my more stupid mistakes. I'd inverted
the return value of try_inc_mod_count() - which in 2.2 was fine because
I was emulating it, but it wouldn't have worked in 2.3.
Grrr. Whichever I develop on, it just doesn't work in the other :)

An attempt to support 2.0 and 2.1 kernels for uClinux 
and other systems where the latest kernel is not used.
Until now, only the MTD core modules, mtdram.c and
ftl.c are converted. The changes are centralized in the
file sysdep-2.2.h.
