I just upgraded from RH7.1 to RH7.3 and I noticed that I get this problem of
total keyboard lock trying to use the programs tuxracer and chromium and if I
have the xscreensaver daemon not killed.

In chromium the mouse can still be moved, however does not respond to clicks
and the music continues playing, keyboard locked. In xscreensaver lock-up all
is blank and keyboard locked, however, my time announcer still goes on. In
tuxracer all seems to be dead.

My mainboard is P6STMT with a SiS630ET chipset which includes integrated
built-in video, audio, networking and communication capabilities.

What have I to do to fix this problem which is starting to mess-up my drives.
I just had to go into rescue mode to do fsck in order to boot.

Regards
