I'm learning unix quickly :) Is this card an ISA ethernet card as desribed in the Configure.help file in the kernel source.? 3c509/3c529 (MCA)/3c579 "EtherLink III" support ??? If so do you know the addresses of the card. IRQ and I/O ?? Most problems with ISA cards happen not to be linux not finding the card but because one did not resurve an IRQ for it in the motherboards BIOS. -- Regards Richard pa3gcu@zeelandnet.nl http://people.zeelandnet.nl/pa3gcu/ - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-newbie" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.linux-learn.org/faqs
