Another problem, hdparm when run as root like this:
hdparm -ab /dev/scd0
or
hdparm -ab /dev/cdrom

Gives me the error message:
/dev/cdrom[scd0] not supported by hdparm

Does this mean that I have the name of the device wrong or that hdparm
won't parlais with my hardware?
