It's very fast. http://www.rocklyte.com/athene To configure blackbox in ~/.blackbox/menu is a child play and takes just minutes and can be done a little at a time. If I have a need for gnome or kde which do have some excellent programs which I forget where they are I just type kicker for kde or gnome-panel for gnome and I have their toolbars handy. When done one can even minimize them so they are out of the way.
