Hi all,

I have installed Suse 9.0 pro. I can download email with the KMail
program. When I try to send, I am having trouble. I'll use made up
settings, but they will follow the patterns.

In windows /eudora (Works):

Name: My Name

POP Account: myaddress%xyzisp.com@mail7.xyzisp.com

SMTP: smtp8.xyzisp.com

In Kmail:

Receiving (works):

Login: myaddress@xyzisp.com

Host: mail7.xyzisp.com

Sending:

Name: My Name

Host: smtp8.xyzisp.com

with the above settings I get this error: "Domain name required for sender
address"

I have tried a bunch of different combinations for the Host, but so far, no
luck. Most cause "unknown server" kind of errors.

The dumbest thing is, that before I did the re install, I had it working.
Since I had little trouble getting it to work the first time, I wasn't
worried about doing it again, but I must have missed something.

Thank you,
Dave
