Subject: Routing b/w 2 ethernet cards.
Date: Tue, 30 Mar 2004 17:14:40 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <4069AB00.5040707@iitk.ac.in> (raw)

Hi all,

I've 2 ethernet interfaces. I want the following scenario.

I want to control applications to use specific eth interfaces. Say, when
I use my IMAP e-mail client, I want it to use eth0, eth1 otherwise.

Can I set iptables rules deciding which remote port I want to connect to
using a particular NIC. If yes, I'd need an example. Otherwise let me
know some other way to do such thing.

Thanks and regards,
Anupam.
