From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Andrew Langdon-Davies Subject: remote Openoffice fonts Date: Wed, 23 Jun 2004 20:02:21 +0200 Sender: linux-newbie-owner@vger.kernel.org Message-ID: <40D9C5AD.8060403@arrakis.es> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Return-path: List-Id: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format="flowed" To: linux-newbie@vger.kernel.org I have just upgraded Mandrake 9.2 to Mandrake 10. At the same time, I downloaded and installed OOo_1.1.2_LinuxIntel_install.tar.gz. I normally use OpenOffice via ssh on a remote client running Mdk 9.2. But for some reason the fonts on the client are garbled: lower case are displayed in upper case and upper case are displayed as numbers and symbols, spaces are rectangles... I use bluefish in the same setup and there is no problem. Can anyone suggest a reason (or better still a cure)?
