Subject: Which linux driver do I choose for my "Parallel Tasking II" card?
Date: Mon, 23 Dec 2002 11:17:25 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <au7cti$b27$1@main.gmane.org> (raw)

I've poked around google to try and couple a driver name with
my ethernet card, a "Parallel Tasking II". I've not had success.

I tryed to decipher the markings on my ethernet card to select the
appropriate driver for my kernel build. The silk screen on the ethernet
card's chip is:

  Parallel Tasking II
  3COM 40-0483-004
  9835S 16017437

I'd assumed I'd see a driver labeled "3c9835", "3c98xx" or
something similar. I didn't, so I expect another similarily labeled
driver will suffice. Would someone be kind enough to enlighten
me, or direct me to where I should be looking?

Much appreciated,
- Jamie
