Hello all,
I realize that I need to bring my Linux/Unix knowledge to upto speed
to be able to do Oracle DB Admin.
I have to know (in reasonable detail) the following:
1. raw devices, logical volumes, cooked, etc..
2. file systems
3. block device, raw device
For eg in "c0t0d0s4" they say t is the target, but I cant find a
decent administration book that explains what a target is.
Can some one please suggest a good basic Linux/Unix book for learning
such things. Thanks
Rocky.
