(NB: mips builds are still running; but toolchain uprev on linux-next builds
to gcc-4.6.3 should in theory fix longstanding cavium build failures...)

New breakage since last report:
	ARM:eseries_pxa_defconfig (no member named 'native_hotplug')
	ARM:netx_defconfig,pnx4008_defconfig
(pktgen: can't find a register in class 'GENERAL_REGS')
ARM:mxs_defconfig (Inconsistent kallsyms data This is a bug - please report)
	sparc:defconfig,allnoconfig (mul.S:134: Hardware capability mul32 not enabled)
	sparc[64]:allmodconfig:
(drivers/ata/sata_mv.c: '__mod_of_device_table' aliased to undefined symbol)

Randconfig fails that may or may not be new (by their very nature):
	i386: (xt_LOG.c: undefined reference to `ip6t_ext_hdr')

Builds that are fixed since last report:
ARM:simpad_defconfig (kallsyms UFO went away, reappear in mxs_defconfig?)
	ARM:davinci_all_defconfig,omap1_defconfig
	powerpc:mpc85xx_defconfig
	parisc:defconfig,allnoconfig

            ------------------------------------------------

This is this:

net/core/pktgen.c:682:2775: error: can't find a register in class 'GENERAL_REGS' while reloading 'asm'
net/core/pktgen.c:682:3153: error: can't find a register in class 'GENERAL_REGS' while reloading 'asm'
net/core/pktgen.c:682:2775: error: 'asm' operand has impossible constraints
net/core/pktgen.c:682:3153: error: 'asm' operand has impossible constraints

Which is a do_div() call. The relevant code does not appear to have
changed, so this may well be a result of our toolchain changing from
"arm-linux-gcc (GCC) 4.4.0, GNU ld (GNU Binutils) 2.19.1" to
"arm-unknown-linux-gnueabi-gcc (GCC) 4.6.3, GNU ld (GNU Binutils) 2.22".

Anyone have any thoughts?

Just for reference I build that code with:
arm-unknown-linux-gnueabi-gcc (GCC) 4.5.2, GNU ld (GNU Binutils) 2.21
and it was fine so I don't think it's to do with the switch from
arm-linux-gcc to arm-unknown-linux-gnueabi-gcc[1]

Yours Tony
