Bruce Fields" Sender: linux-nfs-owner@vger.kernel.org List-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 I'm planning on queuing this up for 2.6.37. Honestly, this is mainly just to make a few pynfs tests pass more reliably, which isn't a good enough reason on its own. But I also can't see any problem with letting the laundromat thread run as much as once a second. --b. commit 76b409f70568ef011e476ce60eab6770572f4839 Author: J. Bruce Fields Date: Mon Oct 11 16:49:44 2010 -0400 nfsd4: expire clients more promptly Expire clients more promptly, at the expense of possibly running the laundromat thread more frequently. Though it's not the default, I'd like it to be feasible to run with a lease time of just a few seconds, at which point a minimum 10 second wait between laundromat runs seems a little much.
