Hi;
Doing some experiments with NFSv4 i stumbled over a problem were 'some'
progs hang on writes others do not. The hangs are 100% reproducable. vi,
ar hang on every write and nedit works (4 whatever reason ..).
The progs are only killable with -9. Restarting Services, rebooting etc.
does not help. The configuration seems ok. I did the test with selinux
and without (no enforcing) - same result.=20
Both boxes are Dual Xeon's with smp Kernel
Server : FC3 with latest patches (2.6.11-1.14_FC3smp)
Client : FC3 with latest patches (2.6.11-1.14_FC3smp)
Clients mounts homedir from Server (no automount involved)
No Kerberos/GSS at the moment.

[root@wimp bin]# rpcinfo -p wimp

rpc.statd, rpc.idmapd are running
On both boxes no visable errors (/var/log/messages etc.)
Any idea what may cause this problem? or how to get rid of it ????

Please do a "echo t > /proc/sysrq-trigger" and post the system traces
of the hung process...
