I now just decided, that broken behaviour has to be treated as broken,
regardles of the kind of behaviour thus my git bisect now ended here:

Note, that this is the one which caused permission denied errors rather than
infinite hangs:
mount.nfs4: access denied by server while mounting vnfsrv:/storage
I suspect that it has been "fixed" in a way which is also broken.
