Subject: [PATCH 03/10] fs, proc: convert proc_dir_entry.count from atomic_t to refcount_t
Date: Thu, 2 Mar 2017 12:43:10 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1488451397-3365-4-git-send-email-elena.reshetova@intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1488451397-3365-1-git-send-email-elena.reshetova@intel.com>
refcount_t type and corresponding API should be
used instead of atomic_t when the variable is used as
a reference counter. This allows to avoid accidental
refcounter overflows that might lead to use-after-free
situations.
