I have confirmed that this issue can be reproduced in 6.18-rc1 with
the reproducer.
It is not 100% reproducible, but I was able to reproduce it by
enabling the panic_on_warn option and continuing to run the program
for a while, so at this point I suspect that it is due to some kind of
underlying timing issue.
