linux on OMAP 2420 in Nokia N95?

Hello,

I read that in my Nokia N95 runs a TI OMAP 2420 [1]. So I searched for
OMAP2420 and linux and found this project and mailinglist. 
I found a platin layout [2], too.
Are people here who evaluate linux on OMAP 2420 in N95?

OMAP2420.

   But, according to http://smartphonedb.com/index.php?m=specs&id=967
specs,
   the OS is Symbian (It is on OMAP2420).

   Can you please confirm?

Hello,

The Nokia N95 has symbian on it.. i can say that for sure, because one
of my friend worked on editing the network stack on the phone, so he
had to contact symbian and get the OS unlock procedure.

right, Nokia brings the N95 with Symbian Series 60 3rd Edition, Feature
Pack 1 to the people.
Is it impossible to bring linux on this phone?

I found a Linux Kernel and files for File System, Boot Loader, X Loader
and Tool Chain for linux support for OMAP2420.
So I thought it is possible that somebody is working on a linux port.

My last phone was a Siemens SX1 with a TI OMAP310 and there is a linux
port:

They realized dual boot with symbian.

The N95 will not run Linux: it runs Symbian, and flashing Linux on it
would be quite an impressive feat.

That would probably capture, amongst others, the attention of the Nokia
legal team, since the processor used is the High Security variant and
succeding in flashing the image means that one has a valid signign key.
