Has anyone had success getting this kernel to boot on a Nokia N810? I
downloaded the stock 2.6.25 kernel, applied the -omap1 patches as well
as the N8x0 patches (from muru.com) but when I boot the kernel it goes
into a kernel panic.
Thanks

I suggest you try newer kernels. Also, please post the kernel panic
message. Without information is pretty difficult to guess what's going
on ;-)
In any case, 2.6.25 should be working fine with n810, I suppose.

Okay, I will try the latest kernel for which the OMAP patches exists.
Sorry for not posting the message but I am fairly new to trying this
kind of development, etc. When the message scrolls by, it only leaves
the last few messages on the screen, not the whole thing. I have no way
of going back and reading all the messages.
Thanks

at the bottom you should see part of the backtrace, at least. That
already helps a bit ;-)

Okay. I built the latest (2.6.27) and it appeared to boot much further.
I saw the splash screen and the scroll bar across the bottom. However,
at the last minute (just before the Nokia hands go away) it loops and
reboots again. How can I go about telling what is happening at that
point?
Thanks
