take a look at Documentation/SubmittingPatches,
Documentation/CodingStyle and Documentation/SubmitChecklist. That'll
help you.

After that, just send a series os patches to the proper interested
parties (use scripts/get_maintainer.pl to help figuring out who to add
to Cc).
