Hi Dirk,

I tested the ALSA driver presented in the latest git tree and madplay is working properly.
Did you select the OSS wrapper at ALSA section when compiled the osk kernel? My madplay
was installed from the debian repository, so I guess it's compiled with default flags.
For reference, my configuration:

root@arm:~/sounds# madplay --version
MPEG Audio Decoder 0.15.1 (beta)
Copyright (C) 2000-2004 Underbit Technologies, Inc.
  Build options: FPM_ARM ASO_IMDCT ASO_INTERLEAVE1

ID3 Tag Library 0.15.1 (beta)
Copyright (C) 2000-2004 Underbit Technologies, Inc.
  Build options: NDEBUG

madplay 0.15.2 (beta)
  Copyright (C) 2000-2004 Robert Leslie
  Build options: AUDIO_DEFAULT=audio_oss ENABLE_NLS

root@arm:~/sounds# uname -r
2.6.17-rc4-omap1-gcd37adf0-dirty

Best regards,

Anderson Briglia
