Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual

PC is at i2c_smbus_write_byte_data+0x10/0x50

I think this is the same?

Anywhere a (hackish) patch for this available? Would be nice 
to have sound working again, even if a hack, until clean 
solution is available.
